We are pleased to announce that our Annual WVFMA conference will be held June 13th through 15th, 2022 at Chief Logan State Park in Logan, WV. This conference promises to be informative and stimulating. Topics will include the CRS program, floodplain permitting, WV Flood Tool updates, mitigation planning, and more!
Overnight reservations at Chief Logan State Park can be made by calling the Lodge at 304-855-6100. The WVFMA has a block of rooms reserved so be sure to mention you are attending the WVFMA Conference.
The early registration fee is $180.00 through April 30th. Starting May 1st, the registration fee will be $195.00. Please register by May 15th.
Although we’re still awaiting confirmation, on Monday evening (June 13th), we anticipate that there will be a cookout with BBQ and all the fixings, live entertainment, games and prizes. You won’t want to miss this.
While the conference has historically attracted mainly floodplain managers and administrators, meeting content can also be of great interest to other community officials, planners, engineers, surveyors and insurance agents.
